Zeus Industry partnered with one of the leading agro-industrial facilities in Chon Buri to deploy a comprehensive 500MW hybrid solar system. This large-scale infrastructure project was designed to address the facility's high energy consumption while maximizing the utility of both factory rooftops and adjacent reservoir space.
The Challenge
The facility operates continuous heavy machinery, resulting in a substantial daytime energy load and escalating operational costs. Limited structural capacity on older building sections meant a standard rooftop-only approach would not meet the client's aggressive energy offset targets. A solution was needed to fully leverage available site resources without disrupting ongoing manufacturing processes.
The Solution
Our engineering team developed a hybrid integration strategy:
- Floating Solar Array: Utilized the facility's water reservoir to install a high-efficiency floating PV system, offering natural cooling effects that boost panel performance.
- Reinforced Rooftop PV: Deployed lightweight mounting systems on newer facility buildings, maximizing available surface area while ensuring structural integrity.
- Unified Energy Management: Integrated both arrays into a centralized monitoring platform, providing real-time data on generation, consumption, and system health.
